slamat hari raya aidil fitri 2009!
tema pada tahun ini :
PINK (x kusangka abg iparku yg SAAAAANGAATTT ANTI-PINK ittewww akhirnya ke'pink-pink'an jua tahun iniii. dadih kaler pink@strawberi pun anak dia x makan tauuu! diejek ayahanda punye pasaiii, kesian budak ittewww. tapi xpe, untung la anakku, dibantainya sorang², hahahah)
destinasi tahun ini (dlm susunan):
kuala pilah, parit sulong, rembau, shah alam, LCCT, keramat & putrajaya (finally! phewww, ponekkk!). hari ahad malam (spt biasa) baru jejak kaki ke rumah ke ittewww.
selain beraya, menghantar adik pulang untuk bertugas semula ke Mukah, Sarawak. kali ni, it is indefinite! wow, i'm already missing you dik! tahun dopan jumpe tarus dpt anak buah baru la yer! ahaks!! nak pegi sana x boleh dah dgn keadaan skrg nih. insya allah, kite jumpe lagi nnt 
lopeh seminggu beraya @ kampung, masuk je ofis, buat plak Jamuan Hari Raya.
Lenlain tu, rondaan ke rumah sedara mara/kawan. Mostly around KL, pjaya, shah alam & keramat. Jarang keluar dari 'comfort zone' nih, hehehe. So, antara rumah dikunjungi (with pictures):
1. alang's new home @ Bayu Lake Homes, Nilai - berkonsepkan 'English Cottage' katanye, hehe;
(sitting from left) bapak, aiman, mama & fina, (standing from left) abang, me, pak lang & alang (the host)
2. Uncle Burn@Bakar's @ Meru, Klang - cousin bapak yg x diketahui generationnya, ntah 2nd, 3rd cousin ke, which makes us 4th, 5th cousins dgn anak² dia?;
gamba dlm kereta je dgn my retro gurlll... hehehe
3. Abg Nuri @ TTDI Damansara - cousin sulung sebelah abang;

& the rest of close families & friends - Mak Cek, Pak Cu & Mak Cu, Acik Noli, Dugan.
Hmmm...x abis lagi nihh.. nasib la sebulan raya!!

but recently, we have this!
so, we went there againn... kali ni dengan family abang plaks... and of coz la abang belanja! hahahahha!
back : abg lan (cousin) & wife, kak mila
front : bibik, mak ni (auntie from pilah), pak cu (uncle from ampang) & fina, mama, abang & mak cu
again, sunset cruise, cuma kali ni naik bot berbeza. DAUN namanya, kalau hari tu KELAH.
anywaysss... baru sgt naik hari tu, so not a big difference laa... cuma nampaknya masjid baru kat presint 2 tuh dari tasik nampak mcm dah siap, pas tuh nampak jugak la kelab pullman yang glemerss ittewww... tour guide tuh pun ckp sebelah tuh pullman tengah buat hotel dia. taraf 6 bintangg youuu!! wow!! merasa ke org gomen duk situ yerr?? hehehhe...
sian sara (SIL) x dpt join sebab kena jaga atuk kat dataran... next time kena la abang belanja lagikss! hehehe. yg kelakarnya karenah atuk, since dia dah sibuk nak balik kg (dah 2 miggu 'merayau' kat kl), atuk pi tanya a family kat situ "ko nak balik pilah ko??" (sambil menuding dengan payung panjang yang dipegang).. hai, atuk, atukk...

the whole house took a day off today! me, abang, am... coz, we went here today!!
reasons why? well, kakak (mama's maid) will be leaving us soon for good... sepanjang 5 thn kalau x silap, x penah bawak kakak round2 KLCC. nak pegi shopping complex tuh mana2 tempat pun ada, so, we decided to visit Petronas Twin Towers's Sky Bridge & Aquaria.
Petronas Sky Bridge:
thanks a lot to ezreen sebab amikkan pass utk kitorg. for info, ezreen is our good friend working @ petronas. sebab sampai2 je kaunter @ 9.30 am, terpampang kat skrin "Pass for next visit at 4.00 PM". padehal baru kul 9! x sampai 10 min, tukar "Pass for next visit at 4.15 PM". aduhhh... si ezreen plak memula lambat turun, kalu xde jugak minah ni, beli souvenirs je la buat kenangan... skali kul 10 baru sampai daa, seb baikk. tarus la amik pass & gather. hmm, kalu sendiri pegi, confirm la ni first & last trip!
well, the tour is ok la for once-in-a-lifetime experience. dah berkumpul, ada 3-d showcase of petronas corporate video. ingat tunjuk pasal pembinaan twin towers ke, tapi x kesah la sebab dah penah tgk kat astro discovery channel. then, the group is divided into 2 coloured teams of 10-12 people - red & blue. ours are red. both teams naik separate lifts. sampai atas, red team wanders first. adala dlm 15 mins 'berjalan' kat bridge tu - tgk views, amik gambar. pas tu baru team biru. my opinion, magnificent! the views, the structure. risau jugak nampak kabus je sebab otw ke KL dari putrajaya hujan je.
Aquaria:
then, after quick lunch @ burger king, off we went to aquaria. selain dari nak bawak kakak, hajat di hati mmg dah laman teringin nak pegi sini. nasib baik bukan cuti skolah, x de la ramai sgt. macam2 ikan adaaa... paling teruja tengok sharks dgn pari besauuuu gilersss! lagi besauu dari orang! if i'm not mistaken, nama dia BOB and it weighs 160++ kg! habis skali ronda aquaria @ 1.00 tghr. hajat di hati nak tgk shark feeding @ 3.30 pm, sebab tu dtg hari rabu. so, tgu jugak laa... ronda lagi 2,3 kali. sampai fina dgn am pakat tido kat kusi yg ada. rupanya seblom shark feeding ada arapaima feeding @ 2.30 pm, tgk jugak la. fina bebetul bangun masa nak tgk shark feeding, takut jugak dia meragam sebab kena kejut. nasib baik ok je layan sharks tuhh! enjoyy!!
selesai je shark feeding, kitorg pun chowww!!!

well, the surprise doesn't turn out to be as expected. sigh...
sume nya AM la punya pasal nih, bocor rahsia!! chett!! plan asal to surprise my mom even about our arrival sebab mama ingat kitorg balik keramat terus. skali am dah ckp aku balik shah alam daa...
but the cake, or cupcakes, still is... happy birthday mom! thanks to kak anna from bake freshly (http://www.bake-freshly.blogspot.com) for the beautiful, marvellous, deliciousss (OMG! the carrot walnut flavour is sooo flavourablee!! lurvee it!) fashionista cupcakes! aren't they cute?? this is my 2nd order after dafinah's doll cake & cuppies. thanks again!!

a weekend full of activities and leisure...
a nice introductory and get-along session with the families of TW...
well, hari tu TW or WK, organised their FIRST family day and i'm proud to join this inaugural event. sempat la join sebab baru masuk TW ni 4 mei hari tu selepas KEMAS. staffs yang hadir sume dtg dgn family masing-masing. seronok sbb dapat berkenalan dgn org2 terdekat kawan2 yg membantu kita di ofis. dgn pelbagai aktiviti, mmg gelak x abis laa...
so, we start the activity dgn lunch. opening by our x-bos, PN. ZANIAH. x-bos sbb she got promoted and transferred to another department effective 1 july. tapi sbb dah plan lamaaaa, we insist to have her along and alhamdulillah, she managed sbb the department she handles currently is the most heavy duty bhg kat KKLW ni.
then our activity continues dgn MUSICAL CHAIR. mcm2 kategori adaaaa... serunuk dah besor2 nih main musical chair. well, sometimes it's good to let the 'kid' in u out once in a while, huh?
bebudak tu biasa la kan, bila part kategori dewasa pompuan and laki x tahan tuhh, mmg berebut2 kusi mcm bebudak! ahaks! kategori terbuka pun adaa... haa, amekk, dewasa vs kekanak!
next game, carik gula dlm tepung. dafinah 'main' jugak tauu!!
another game ONLY for adult men, epal gantung! hahaha... klaka tul event nih, dari mula smp abeshh. abg x ketinggalan, walaupun 'menyedari' hakikat sebenar x buleh nak menang (melainkan pakai platform!). and as expected, menang jugak abang nih, 1st.. FROM LAST! ahaks!
pas tu, to the sand, averyone!! ni event yg ditunggu2 dafinah nih, main pasir! skrg nih kalau PD, dafinah associate dgn PASIR je. last² kitorg bukan buat sand castle, tapi 'LEG CASTLE' dafinah. dgn ornaments lagi tuh! and x ketinggalan, mandi laut! walupun forbidden by atuk dan wan dafinah sbb baru baik demam, kami harungi jua air laut ittewww, hehehee. balik PD, mama kena luku! ouuchh!
seblah malam, bbq & karaoke. abg, lagu standard la kan, BIAR BULAN BICARA by BROERY. tapi gambo xde plak sbb masa tuh tgh sibuk main bola dgn dafinah. unfortunately, aku x tunggu lama sbb sakit perut. ingatkan sorang, rupanya rameii la jugak. i think i knew what causes us into it, tapi BIARLAH RAHSIAA... hehehe.
2nd day, pagi, poco²! tapi kitorg x bangun lagi, ahaks! turun² je, sudah abishh la plakk. breakfast then terus pegi taklimat treasure hunt. the game mcm explorace la, kami satu group dgn our EO, Pn Rohana & hubby, En Hassan. kitorg lead tau smp 4th checkpoint, kena plak teka birthday si LIN nihh.. hampehhss tul laaa! that's our turning point, dpt 2nd last jadi nyerr!! adui laa...
abesh je treasure hunt, gathered again for closing and picture taking.

trip : 12-14 june 2009
destination : padang & bukit tinggi, indonesia
family entourage : mama, pak long, am (my bro) & me
wow! my 2nd trip of the year! last march pegi pulau redang, kali ni ke padang & bukit tinggi, indon. mmg hajat di hati nak pegi bukit tinggi yg kat pahang tuh, yg ada village ala-ala perancis la, jopun laa.. ghupo2 ehh, poie bukit tinggi boto2 plaks! mcm 'menjejak kasih' keturunan minangkabau pung ado.. hehehe.
talk about leisure and shopping, these places is marvellousss!! and... DEFINITELY for ladies!! (smp terpakso den guno kredit kad bershopping! ahaks!). so, let see ape kitorg buat kat sana:
12 jun:
departure @ 7.50 am, seawal 5 pagi dah smp kat airport. kul baper bangun sendiri mau pikir laa.. haha; arrival @ padang @ 8.30 am waktu padang (means 9.30 waktu malaysia. they're 1-hour late than malaysia).
first stop, air terjun lembah anai - ala2 air terjun lata kinjang kalu kat mesia sbb tepi jalan.
 
lunch then proceed to our 2nd stop, rumah gadang @ rumah besar kalu bahasa standard malaysia. dlm bahasa minang, gadang @ godang = besar. this place kalu ikut dolu2 mcm rumah panjang kaum sarawak la. 5 to 6 families live together in 1 house.

enough places of interest, our 1st shopping stop - puteri minang. masing2 lepas geram kat sini. embroidery products such as kain, telekung mmg berganda2 cheaper dari malaysia. worth a trip. aku sendiri sambar 4 helai kain/baju kat sini utk adik, kakak kat mesia (kakak=bibik, kak long & sara. stopover again on the way to padang dah x cukup rupiah, tu yg guno kt kad tuh, hahahha) skali dgn baju 3 org hero kat mesia (abg, adik & aiman) sbg upah jaga fina  x ckp shopping lagi, lepas lunch we proceed to our 2nd & 3rd stop, lindungan bulan & anisah. during lunch i was introduced to sambal hijau. a must-haves dish kalu makan masakan padang and sedappp!!! and lagi satu, skali hidang masakan padang nih, lauk saja nak dkt 10 macam! mmg banyak pilihann!!

back to shopping story, same products of different varieties. harga lebih kurang. tapi kat anisah, exclusive products. mcm kalau kat mesia ni, kedai2 batik ekslusif gittewww... but indeed, design cantik2 cuma ongkosnya lebih mahal pakss.. tapi itu tidak menghalang aku menyambar selai blouse di siniii, hehehehe... cukup la shopping 3 tompek tuh haa, checked-in our hotel @ bukit tinggi, Hotel Pusako. a 4 star hotel tapi lebih bagus standard dari sri malaysia okehh... worth a stay!
malam, dinner & minangkabau cultural show.

3rd stop, ngarai sianok lobang jepang @ lubang jepun.
this is where the japanese hid masa british (or is it dutch?) invasion smp la hiroshima & nagasaki dibom. difahamkan there are 7 such holes and yg bukak bukan semua la. panjang terowong can reach up to 6 km and ketinggian dari aras jalan around 2 km. tourist will need to climb down (and up) 132 steps anak tangga to reach terowong. masa turun ok la, masa naik aduhaii.. 'capek'@penat jugak dibuek ehh, hehehe.
lepas jalan² dlm tunnel, jalan² atas plak, shopping lagiks! ter'lontar'@terbelanja kain baju lagi seblom pegi lunch, hahaha. introduced to more traditional dishes of padang, ayam pok and ikan gurami bakar. pung sodappp!! ayam pok nih xtau le cemana nak ckp, a whitish dish, mcm ayam rebus je tapi x rasa mcm ayam rebus pun, rasa mcm masak gulai. ikan gurami plak sebena nye ikan kaloi dibakar tapi sambal dia mmg sodappss!
4th stop, jam gadang, again maksudnya jam besar. .
mcm jam kat bangunan sultan salahuddin kl tuh je aku tgk but without the buildings la. clock tower basically and this is one of bukit tinggi's landmarks. ada pasar which sells souvenirs at the lowest prices compared dgn those yg jual kat proper stores. so, kalu korang nak beli souvenirs this is the place. mmg murah banding ngan tempat lain (hishh, nyosaa plak boli keychain 10 biji yor... rugi 10 koping lagi sobab boli kek tompek lain). so, me myself sambar keychains & baju for my nephews (daniel & danish). selesai di jam gadang, off we go for lunch then proceed to padang.
dalam perjalanan, stopover @ durian stall pekena durian bukit tinggi. durian bukit la katakann, it's finger lickin' good, hehehe...
smp di padang @ 5 pm waktu indon, tarus checked-in hotel, The Ambacang Hotel. agak nye hotel ni buat atas tapak dusun bacang kot, hehehe... a 3 star hotel again tapi mcm 5 star. malam, dinner then ke lake bayur. asalnya nak tgk sunset tapi sbb dah golap, tgk lampu yo lahhh... lake bayur ni is a port actually. xleh la nak describe keindahannya sbb x nampakk except for the neon lights...

kami ke gerai kripik bilado @ kerepek berlada @ kerepek pedas la senangg.. hahaha. pak long je sambar 2,3 paket kerepek tapi aku dak aiihh, boli kek ambon@sarang semut je bawak balik.
from there, 5th stop, pantai padang.
tapi tgk dr dlm bas aje sbb panas. mcm pantai kat mesia la tapi bukan mcm pd. dari dalm bas tgk air biru gile, pasir putih, kalu turun musti mcm pantai redang kot?
lalu plak jambatan siti nurbaya but i'm yet to find out the story behind it.
on the way to our restaurant for lunch @ lubuk idai (@ pusat bersidai, hahahha... ni translation aku ngan am), round2 bandar padang.
one thing i can conclude, ALL government buildings MUSTI bumbung meruncing mcm tanduk kerbau. mmg menyanjung adat boto diorg nihh.. ALL, not a single exception. kalu the whole building x dpt wat cam tuh, the main building. otherwise, guard house pun jadiks!
stopover @ our last shopping place, silungkang & pandai sikek. apo laie, last kopek la masing2. ndak plak baru discover aku ada Rp200 lagik (sbb airport tax rupenye dah include dlm pakej & RM10=Rp28,000), sambar plak kain kebaya solaii... hehehe, puas 'melontar' @ berbelanja, off we go for lunch then to the airport to head home.
all i can say, u'll never get tired of bukit tinggi & will definitely go again, insya allahh...
anyway, credit to mama yg me'nyupport' (nih laa padah ehh bm+bi  ) trip kali nih sempena hadiah persaraann (aiman ke beijing, adik ke bandung)... patutnye kitorg yg bagi kan, hahahaha  nak bagi lagi pung bulehhh, hehehe
so, ap, intan, raiz, bukit tinggi ke langkawi? hahaha... hadi dah pilih bukit tinggi, hehehe.
